Ellen married William Vawer, (born 1864, died 1902) son of Charles Vawer and Emma Lambert, Sep Q 1889 in Walsall, Staffordshire, UK.

After William's death she married Thomas Dyoss in 1905, who was the son of Thomas Dyoss (born November 6th 1840) and Elizabeth Hales (born February 18th 1845 and baptised 24th February 1845), . Thomas spent his youth on the canal, but in late teens ' came ashore' working with horses for a family at Platts Bridge, on the Bloxwich Road, Walsall. He later joined the LNWR railway as a navvy, eventually being in charge of a 'gang'. The wedding certificate for his marriage to widow Ellen shows him to have been a carpenter at that time, and a widower. He first married ? in Walsall in 1888 and had a daughter, Edith Mary in 1889. Currently we have no other information about the wife or daughter. Nellie Dorothy Dyoss was the only child of this second marriage, born 31 January 1905. She died 30 May 2000.
