Doris moved from Canada to England in 1935 with her family. She married John Shaborda (who was born 2nd June 1909 and died in 1979) and returned to Montreal in ?1946 and lived there until her death.
Doris was an excellent pianist. She worked as a rehearsal pianist for the Montreal Ballet.
